Meet Satu Samira Hamed.
Satu Samira Hamed
Founder, Planet Diplomats · Helsinki
Planet Diplomats was founded by Satu Samira Hamed as an urge to make concept, service and business development more sustainable in the processes — and not just through reports.
Satu is a Planet-Centric Designer, Executive Mentor, Entrepreneur and PhD Researcher in planetary governance at Tampere University. She holds an MSc in Business & Design from the University of Gothenburg and works at the intersection of sustainability, business design and diplomacy. With years of experience developing services and business processes across industries, she facilitates teams to embed sustainability into strategy, innovation and everyday operating models.
She is currently studying diplomacy with the United Nations in Geneva, and leads Sustinaires ry, the Finnish association for sustainable digitalisation, with more than 100 members from technology companies. She also holds an Executive Diploma in Diplomacy from UNITAR in Geneva and served on the board of the Design and Posthumanism Network.
